Festival of the Last Minute

Calhoun Square is hosting the Festival of the Last Minute, a tribute to the last minute shopper, today from 3pm to 7pm. Activities include huge sales, pet photos with Santa, an ugly sweater contest with prizes, and the opportunity to register for gift certificates to Calhoun Square tenants. For more information, either just go there today or check out the Calhoun Square website.

And once you’re done at Calhoun Square, visit some other Uptown businesses. After several weekends of snow, they’d appreciate your patronage.

I missed this earlier, but the Santa thing reminds me: it would be really, really nice to have more Uptown Santa opportunities for KIDS, too (I see this one was store-sponsored, so I’m not complaining, just commenting!). Perhaps Calhoun Square could sponsor one (if only for a day) next year? Or did they this year and I missed it? If I’d been more on top of it I might have brought Jack to see the pet Santa.
