Under the stairwell.
Like most people in Uptown, I live in a small-scale apartment building (6 units) and have limited space. Under the stairwell resides about 8 bikes (there are more bikes than apartments). This is fine. It’s a safe building- and a safe neighborhood, so people don’t even lock up their bikes. – It’s great.
I own a “small-scale” apartment building in Uptown (4 units), and have converted one of the three garages to be a bike garage, installing permanent Dero racks into the slab. I and my tenants store our bikes (there are about 8-9 in there now) in a sheltered, locked space which requires no carrying up or down stairs, or through doors with automatic closers.
I wish I could post a picture of it here. (I’ve gotten more than one tenant just from showing the garage.)
There are also two hoop racks in the boulevard.
We bring our bikes inside our apartment – we have bike rack thingies inside to hold four bikes. They take up a living room wall, but a bike is the vest decoration!
I put it in the walk-in closet in my apartment.
