“If your heirs won’t fight over it, we won’t make it.” That’s the motto from Jonathan Adler, which is opening a store in the Uptown district of Minneapolis. The designer is known for a modernist that merges bold colors and patterns to create everything from decorative objects, tabletop collections, bedding, bath accessories, candles, furniture, rugs, pillows, and lighting.

The 2,780 square foot store will open March 23, 2012 at 1439 West Lake Street (at Holmes Avenue), adjacent Ragstock and under Jon English Salon. The space had recently been home to a Ragstock specialty store but before that was part of an expanded Jon English Salon.

Jonathan Adler joins a growing list of home furnishing/decor stores in Uptown, including CB2, Roam, Design Within Reach, Go Home, and Kitchen Window.

Checkout the newly renovated Jon English salon above the new Jonathan Adler store. The new front entrance is amazing, the new paint job, furniture and artwork in the salon makes this salon one of the coolest looking hair salons in town. The staff as always are great at what they do and Jon English’s attention to every detail is why he has been around for so long.
