The 10th annual Bastille Day Block Party will take place this Sunday, July 15th from 3:00pm to 10:00pm outside of the party’s host, Barbette, located at Lake Street and Irving Avenue.

Entertainment includes Astronautalis, Peter Wolf Crier, A. Wolf & Her Claws, Prissy Clerks, Sleep Study, Patty & the Buttons, The Brass Messengers, MC Foxy Tann, Epitome No Question, Heart of the Beast Puppet & Mask Theater, Familia Skateshop, Ed Daniels Juggler Extraordinaire, Infiammati Fire Circus and Great Expectorations: A Wine-Soaked Spit-acular.

The wine spitting contest will take place from 3:40pm to 4:30pm.

A portion of the event’s proceeds will support People Serving People.

Like in past years, the event is zero waste (awesome) and also recommends people leave their pets at home (in part due to the hot asphalt that can hurt dog paws).
