The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is hosting a design charette that will look at the north side of Lake Calhoun and the south side of Lake of the Isles, including the area near the Lake Calhoun Center (NW corner) and the sailing school (NE corner), along with the dog park area.

The first meeting is Tuesday, October 9th from 7 to 9pm at MoZaic (1350 Lagoon Avenue), behind the Lagoon Cinema in Uptown. The second meeting will take place on Saturday, October 13th from 9 to 11am at the same location and debrief with a professional design team and seek additional input. Additional information can be found on the MPRB website.

The MPRB has earmarked $3.7 million for improvements in 2015 to 2016 to the Chain of Lakes Regional Park, which includes this area.
