A bakery with the same name operates today as a wholesaler near the University of Minnesota.

I don’t know if it’s the decendant of the original Uptown Ovens, but I drive past Uptown Ovens daily on my way to work. It’s located on Elm Street, near Pace Analytical, on the edge of Dinkytown.
When they shut down retail operations in Uptown the owner moved the bakery near the campus. Not sure if it’s still the same owner but is definitely the same operation.
