CARAG’s Chilly Chili Fest 2/24

The CARAG Neighborhood, which contains the SE quadrant of Hennepin-Lake and the SW quadrant of Lyn-Lake, has their annual Chilly Chili Festival on Sunday, February 24, 2013. The event is scheduled from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at Bryant Square Park, located at 3101 Bryant Avenue South.

The event is a fundraiser for the Uptown Food Shelf. At $3.00 for a bowl of chili, it’s a great opportunity to reunite or meet your neighbors when it is chilly outside, fill your belly, and support a great community organization.

The event is zero-waste and will offer a number of door prizes from community businesses. The event is sponsored by Bremer Bank, Bryant Lake Bowl, Medica, and Bull Run Coffee.

Those wishing to make cash or non-perishable food items to the Uptown Food Shelf may do so during the event.
