The windsurfer sculpture on the northwest corner of Lake Calhoun is a notable piece of public art in Uptown, with many knowing the building simply as “that building with the windsurfers on top of it.”
While it may still be too snowy and too cold for sidewalk cafes right now, soon these wonderful cafes will propagate Uptown and remind us how even a sunny 50 degree day is a fantastic time to sit outside.
A reminder that spring growing season is just around the corner.
