The Loppet comes back this Saturday and Sunday on February 2nd and 3rd.
Preliminary concepts developed by the MPRB project team and public input were released, showing a variety of ideas to improve the north side of Lake Calhoun and the south side of Lake of the Isles. They range from land bridges to board walks to a new channel and more.
The Park Board and the community will meet 10/9 and 10/13 to work on potential design improvements for the north side of Lake Calhoun and the south side of Lake of the Isles.
CPM proposes another Uptown apartment project, this time at James Avenue and Lake Street.
The 57-unit Lake & Knox Apartment project will make significant headway December 1 as its site is cleared of the existing buildings. Construction of the building will begin immediately after that.
Soil erosion as the result of cow paths on the north side of Lake Calhoun has created a safety, water quality, and attractiveness concern. Year in and year out, nothing seems to be done to mitigate or prevent these problems. What can be done?
